In this class students will create two ornament sized suncatcher pieces in fused glass. Pick your favorite springtime creature: birds\, flowers\, butterfly's\, bees\, etc. and learn to create them in glass to make a beautiful suncatcher to hang in the window. Beginner instruction includes the fused glass process by professional artist Verne Orlosk. A demonstration of tools\, color choices and ideas for inspiration will get you started. All materials will be supplied by the instructor. Please note that completed projects will be fired in the artist's kiln off site and will be returned to the gallery for pickup within a week. Tuition is $55 per student\, with a $14 materials fee paid cash or check to the instructor on the day of class. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
