This class is being offered in 2 time slots\, a daytime class from 10am 12pm\, or an evening class from 6pm 8pm for 5 Thursdays in a row. Join us to learn rug hooking\, a traditional New England fiber art that beautifully combines artistic expression and function. In this course\, students will learn the core skills of rug hooking and make a 14"x14" piece. With the skills learned in this course\, students would be able to progress to pieces involving more complex designs and color shading in the future. Use your finished piece as a wall hanging\, pillow\, or chair pad! The workshop fee includes a kit with a pattern\, material\, and a rug hook. Students must bring: A small pair of scissors and a 12" quilting hoop. All other materials are supplied by the instructor. Tuition is $155 per student and there is no materials fee.
