DESCRIPTION:This class will introduce you to metalsmithing or sharpen your existing skills. Deb will guide students through using an acetylene torch to create a beautiful pair of silver earrings. You'll learn shaping\, hammering\, soldering with acetylene\, and fabricating with silver wire and sheet. Follow along with Deb's "Sun and Rain" pattern or create earrings of your own design! Tuition is $40 per student\, plus a $35 materials fee to be paid cash or check to the instructor on the day of class. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Those who wish to take the class MUST sign up by Wednesday\, June 24th.
