Enjoy an engaging evening with our featured speaker, Geoff Jones, while sampling craft beer from NOTCH Brewery.
In 1968, at just 19 years old, Geoff and three fellow UNH students set out in homemade fiberglass kayaks on a 1,200-mile journey from Alberta to Hudson Bay. Their route took them up the Clearwater River, across the Meythe Portage, and through a series of remote lakes and rivers to Port Churchill, Manitoba. The final leg of their journey became a fight for survival.
