Description
Join professional facilitator and trainer Catherine Crooker as she guides us through an engaging morning learning powerful ways to build meaningful relationships with the donors, board members, and volunteers who are so critical to our work. Through interactive training, peer collaboration, and panel discussions we will explore what it takes to find, cultivate, and steward the people who make it possible for us to create change in our communities.
By the end of our morning together you will have new tools for identifying potential donors, board members, and volunteers among your constituents. You will develop a few key strategies for engaging them more deeply in your work and learn critical steps to keep them involved by focusing on stewardship, the art of showing them your gratitude for their support.

Speaker Background:
Catherine Crooker helps visionary leaders bring big dreams to life for their communities. As an Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) certified trainer, Catherine has helped hundreds of professional and volunteer fundraisers across the country attract more donors and bring in bigger gifts. In her consulting practice she applies her nearly 40 years’ professional experience in higher education, healthcare, and social service to help organizations achieve bold visions, whether they are just starting on their fundraising journey or conducting their next capital campaign. Catherine is a member of the AFP-NNE Board of Directors, where she enjoys giving back to the profession by helping assure all non-profits in Northern New England have access to high-quality education and training. She is blessed to have clients and community on both coasts. When she is not helping organizations achieve their fundraising dreams, she is probably hiking in the White Mountains near her Sandwich, New Hampshire home, or sitting at her spinning wheel surrounded by her Portland, Oregon friends.
