Festival Orchestra with the NHMF Symphonic Chorus Donato Cabrera, music director Dan Perkins, principal guest conductor/director of choral activities MASON BATES Devil?s Radio TCHAIKOVSKY Meditation and Melodie from Souvenir d?un lieu cher SARASATE Romanza andaluza and Zigeunerweisen Yulia Iglinova Milstein, violin VAUGHAN WILLIAMS Dona nobis pacem Tami Petty, soprano Paul Max Tipton, baritone For our season finale, we present a work that will bring singers from across New England to Plymouth. Commissioned to mark the centenary for the Huddersfield Choral Society, Ralph Vaughan Williams set his cantata, Dona nobis pacem, to text from the Catholic Mass, three Walt Whitman poems and the Bible as a plea for peace in times of war. You?ll also enjoy solo violinist Yulia Iglinova Milstein in multiple works for violin and orchestra.
