Franklin Tree Lighting – December 4, 2015
6pm-7pm Marceau Park
Festival of Trees
5pm-8pm The 3rd Annual Festival of Trees will kick off December 4, 2015 at the Franklin Opera House, following the Tree Lighting ceremony at Marceau Park, and continuing through the weekend. Beautiful and unique decorated trees, wreaths, and handmade goods will be on display, donated by local businesses, organizations, families, and individuals. Visitors will enjoy viewing it all, enjoying great entertainment throughout the Festival and having an opportunity to win a raffle and take home one of our donated items for the holidays. This fundraiser helps the Opera House continue its mission of bringing quality local and regional entertainers to our stage and to provide a place where our youth can learn theater skills and enjoy performing. Featured performances include the Showcase Quartet, an a capella female quartet from Nashua on Saturday night, December 5, and the Strathspey and Reel Society of New Hampshire on Sunday afternoon, December 6. Admission for viewing the Festival of Trees is $5 per person, or FREE with the purchase of a show ticket. Learn more online at www.FranklinOperaHouse.org, or call 934-1901.
