Description
After 30 years in Meredith in 2015 the lakes gallery at chi-in returned to the 1780 farmhouse, surrounded by beautiful old Asian gardens at 135 Eastman Road,
where the gallery originally began in 1981. The gallery offers a selection of both large and intimate pieces for commercial spaces and lakeside homes within a
setting of fine vernacular Asian antiques, seasonal exhibits, poetry readings, a sunny professional calligraphy studio with intimate workshops.
Some thoughts on the idea of Home….
All Paths Home is an exhibit about the concept of Home—especially important to us all now in such uncertain times. The artists include an oil painter, a photographer,
a writer, a book artist & a ceramist There are places that feel like home and others that we just pass through. Perhaps Home is the place that gives you a feeling that
you belong, one that will always feel the same when you return.
“The world cannot be discovered by a journey of miles, no matter how long, but only by a spiritual journey, a journey of one inch,
very arduous and humbling and joyful, by which we arrive at the ground at our feet, and learn to be at home.”
