Description
The famed Lakes Region of New Hampshire is the setting for the Big Lake Half Marathon, which takes nearly 1,200 runners each year on a tour of the shores and hills of Lake Winnipesaukee.
Bordered by the nearby White Mountains and Ossipee Mountain Range, the course for this point-to-point race starts at the Alton Central School and makes a narrow loop along the lake, passing by sights such as Sandy Point, Pumpkin Point and Mt. Major Park, and finishes a little over a mile from the starting line at Shibley's at the Pier. Enjoy our after-party with friends, Live, Smuttynose Beer, Jordan's Ice Cream, and much more.
