Description
The Meredith League of New Hampshire Craftsmen Fine Craft Gallery is excited for our upcoming "Flower Power" exhibit for the month of July in which various artists and mediums will be creating a stunning showcase. Jewelers will be crafting intricate floral-themed jewelry made from precious metals and gemstones. Inspired by different types of flowers, their work will come to life in rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets. Glass artists will be offering stunning glass flowers, vases, and functional glass pieces such as bowls. The interplay of light through glass adds an ethereal quality to these beautiful works of art. Potters will please with flower-themed pottery such as vases adorned with sculpted flowers, and bowls, trays and other vessels with floral motifs inspired by different botanical elements. Intriguing prints with floral compositions and intricate quilling pieces will be displayed along with textile artwork using fabrics. There will also be exquisite wearable art such as scarves, shawls and vests featuring floral designs. Stained-glass pieces will be a resplendent garden of petal delight from demur roses to dazzling sunflowers. The ?Flower Power? exhibit brings together gifted artists to create a diverse and visually captivating exhibit that celebrates the beauty and artistry of flowers in fine craft.
