Description
Have you ever wondered why loons have red eyes, or what they are saying with those haunting calls? Caroline Hughes, a biologist with the Loon Preservation Committee, will talk about this unique symbol of New Hampshire’s wild lakes and its special place in the hearts of New Hampshire residents. The Loon Preservation Committee is a non-profit organization based in Moultonborough dedicated to the conservation of the common loon and its habitat in New Hampshire.
