Mill After Hours - Annual Sock Hop
Step back in time and join us for the Annual Sock Hop at the Belknap Mill on Friday, September 11! This family-friendly community celebration is packed with live music, classic cars, food trucks, raffles, and plenty of 1950s-inspired fun.
The festivities begin at 5:00 PM with our gallery opening featuring local artist Frenchy the Painter, along with kids' activities including crafts, hula hoops, and a bubble gum blowing contest. Dance the night away to live music from the Rockin' Daddios from 6:00-8:00 PM, then stick around for an outdoor showing of Grease at 8:30 PM, made possible by Celebrate Laconia.
Guests are encouraged to wear their best 1950s attire and enjoy the classic car show, costume contest, root beer floats, and more.
Classic car owners are invited to register their vehicles for the Annual Classic Car Show for a chance to win prizes. Registration is $10 per vehicle.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join us for an unforgettable evening of music, community, and vintage fun. Rain or shine!
