Description
Join us at the League of NH Craftsmen – Meredith Fine Craft Gallery on Saturday, April 26th, and Sunday, April 27th 2025 for a 2-Day Tatting for Everyone Class with international award winning tatter and designer, Elaine O’Donal. The first class will take place Saturday from 10 am – 2:30 pm. Students will learn the origins of this ancient handcrafting technique, learn about the basic tools used, create patterns, and begin the process of tatting. The second class will take place Sunday from 12 pm – 2 pm. Students will practice their skills to finish up their tatted projects. Class is informal and fun, allowing each student to proceed at their own pace. All levels welcome, from beginner - one who has never held a shuttle; to the person who has had some practice, but would like to learn more. This class will cover everything, from the basic stiches to following patterns and finishing pieces. Students will need to bring: • Scissors • Pen and paper for their own notes • Lunch on Saturday Tuition is $50 per student with a materials fee of $10 paid by cash or check directly to the instructor on the day of the class. Materials fee will include shuttle, thread, and patterns which students can keep to continue tatting on their own. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Those who wish to take the class MUST sign up by Monday, April 21st.
