The Silver Swing

The Silver Swing gala will raise awareness of domestic and sexual violence, raise funds for the critical support to victims and survivors and celebrate New Beginnings' 25 years of service to the community. Sponsored by The Margate, Meredith Village Savings Bank, J Jill, Watts Water Technologies and Proforma Piper Printing, our gala encourages the community to reflect upon the needs of victims of violence and provides an opportunity to give back. The Silver Swing is themed after the big band style of the 1940s with live swing music from the Lakes Region Big Band. The event will be held in the heart of Laconia, in The Margate's beautiful Ballroom. Attendees will be served a complimentary dinner with vegetarian options and refreshments from Curt's Caterers. This fundraiser and friend-raiser will include recognitions to local leaders for their incredible work with victims of abuse. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in 1940s fashion and participate in our silent auction with items and packages donated by local companies and business partners. This community affair will be sure to inspire, unite and instill passion to eliminate domestic and sexual violence in Belknap County and beyond.
