Description
This May, Mental Health America and the Lakes Region Mental Health Center invite you to "Be Seen in Green"! Green is more than just a color – it’s the international symbol for mental health awareness. Representing fresh starts, optimism, and energy, wearing green makes a bright and bold statement: I care about mental health. Wearing green can be fun! And supports a great cause – increased access to integrated mental and physical healthcare in the Greater Lakes Region. To participate in the “Jeans and Green” challenge, join Lakes Region Mental Health in wearing jeans and a green shirt on Friday, May 17th. Participating organizations will appoint a team captain to collection a minimum $5 donation per team member. Challenge each other to reach a goal of $100, $200, or even $500! Take pictures of your Jeans and Green team and tag Lakes Region Mental Health on social media. We encourage you to ramp up the fun by adding green accessories like hats, ribbons, or other custom pieces!
