The Wellness Wisdom program for April will be held on Wednesday, 4/18/18 at 10:30am at the Meredith Community Center, One Circle Dr., Meredith.
The theme for April will be Advanced Directives and Healthcare Planning. On the heels of National Healthcare Decision Day, 4/16/18, our focus will be on the importance of Advanced Directives. We will help to demystify the document by going through and explaining each section as well as answering all of your questions about it.
Everyone over the age of 18 should have this document completed. It is critical to know what your choices for emergent care would be in a health crisis when you can’t speak for yourself. Your Advanced Directives guide health care providers and your loved ones in knowing what you would want done.
The Advanced Directives booklet and tools for having health care conversations with your loved ones will be available at this session as well as at the Lakes Region VNA office, located at 186 Waukewan St., Meredith.
