WORK Lakes Region Celebrates 2 Years of Community and Connection with FREE Coworking Week
LACONIA, NH — Two years ago, WORK Lakes Region opened its doors with a mission to create more than just a beautiful place to plug in. It set out to become a hub for local professionals, entrepreneurs, and dreamers. A place where momentum meets connection, and ideas turn into action.
Now, that mission continues as WORK celebrates its two-year anniversary with an open invitation to the Lakes Region community: FREE Coworking Week, running October 20–24, and a special anniversary networking breakfast on Thursday, October 23rd.
“This milestone isn’t just about how long we’ve been open. It’s about the people who’ve brought this space to life,” said Jodie Gallant, founder of WORK Lakes Region. “We’ve watched startups take root, nonprofits grow stronger, side hustles find direction, and friendships form over morning coffee. That’s worth celebrating.”
Throughout the week, guests are invited to experience WORK’s signature atmosphere: welcoming, focused, and full of possibility, with no cost or commitment. Daily hours for guests run 9 AM to 4 PM, and visitors can take advantage of giveaways, meet members, and get a feel for how this shared workspace fuels real productivity.
But the highlight of the celebration lands on Thursday, October 23rd, when WORK will host a Networking Coffee & Breakfast from 8:00 to 9:30 AM. The morning includes complimentary coffee and light breakfast, meaningful conversation, and a gratitude wall honoring the wins and moments shared inside the space over the past two years.
“There are so many professionals in our region working from home, running businesses solo, or craving community but unsure where to start,” Gallant shared. “This week is for them. Try it. Bring your laptop, grab a seat, and feel the shift that happens when you’re surrounded by like-minded people all showing up for a purpose.”
The public is welcome to join for the week, and/or the networking celebration. Whether you're a freelancer, remote worker, small business owner, nonprofit leader, or just coworking-curious, this is your chance to try WORK Lakes Region on the house.
