About Us

Boys & Girls Club of Central and Northern NH cultivates safe places for children to learn and grow. Our early-childhood centers in Laconia and Belmont specialize in meeting the unique social, emotional and learning needs of each child we serve. After-school and summer camp locations across the Lakes Region provide our club members with life-enhancing programs and character development experiences that assist in their ability to develop into productive, responsible and caring adults.

We are the beneficiary of the Lakes Region's long history of supporting child care and youth development. Lakes Region Childcare Services was founded in the home of Sarah Allen over 50 years ago and has since grown into three centers providing high-quality, non-profit early childhood education. The Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes Region began as a teen center in 1998 after the tragic killing of 14-year-old Robbie Mills. Since 2019, both divisions have been part of Boys & Girls Club of Central and Northern NH.
