About Us
For 85 years! The NASWA Resort started in 1935 when Jim and Fannie Salta became interested in a spring near the popular tourist destination Weirs Beach. The spring tested as 100% pure spring water so Jim and Fannie purchased the property and started The Natural Spring Water Bottling Company. Eventually, the Trade name NASWA was coined from the words Natural Spring Water and the company became known as the NASWA Spring Water Company. In 1936, The Saltas built 5 small one-room cottages, the cottages became known as The NASWA Spring Water Cabins. In 1957, the name changed to the NASWA Motor Inn and later to The NASWA Resort, as it is known today. Today we have 82 rooms including Lakefront cottages with kitchens & screened porches, AquaVista Building and studio suites, most with lake views. The Blue Bistro at the NASWA Resort serves brilliantly crafted cuisine for breakfast and dinner. The World Famous NazBar & Grill serves lunch and dinner at the water's edge. Live Entertainment on the Beach. 1000 feet of Beach, Free Dock space, Kayaks, Paddleboards & WIFI. Great location to ''Unwind & Relax''. Family-owned since 1935.
