About Us

The Belknap Mill showcases its architectural history and industrial heritage across multiple galleries on the first and fourth floors. The Karagianis Gallery documents the mill’s 200-year history, featuring exhibits with hands-on activities. The Knitting Museum displays knitting machines and explores the history of hosiery production. The Powerhouse Museum interprets the 1918 hydroelectric power plant addition, detailing the mill’s evolution of water to hydroelectric power. The Riverside Gallery features monthly art exhibits on various subjects and media. The Fourth Floor Gallery hosts rotating special exhibits
