Makers Mill Invites Community to First Holiday Market & Open House on November 15
WOLFEBORO, N.H. — Looking for something a little different this holiday season? Makers Mill, a nonprofit community makerspace in Wolfeboro, is opening its doors for its first Holiday Market & Open House on Sunday, November 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. The event invites the community to shop for unique, locally made gifts, meet the makers behind them, and explore the creative workshops and shared spaces where people come to learn, make, and connect.
Visitors will find a wide variety of handmade goods created by Makers Mill members, instructors, and recent graduates of the Artists, Growers & Makers Business Lab. From jewelry, stained glass, artwork, and ornaments to decorated furniture, clothing, fiber arts, leather goods, herbal teas, and more, the market will offer plenty of opportunities to find something special while supporting local makers.
But this event is about more than holiday shopping. Throughout the afternoon, visitors can explore Makers Mill's creative spaces, watch live demonstrations in stained glass, jewelry making, blacksmithing, and electronics, and join building tours to get a closer look at the shops, tools, and opportunities available to the community.
The open house is also an invitation to imagine what you might make next. Visitors can learn about classes, workshops, and membership opportunities, whether they're interested in picking up a new skill, exploring a creative hobby, or finding a community of people who enjoy making things.
For those looking to give something beyond a traditional gift, Makers Mill also offers gift certificates and opportunities to share the experience of learning something new. A class taken together, a new skill discovered, or time spent creating can be a meaningful gift that lasts well beyond the holidays.
The Holiday Market & Open House is free and open to the public and takes place Sunday, November 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Makers Mill, 23 Bay Street in Wolfeboro.
