Marriott Gilford/Laconia Hotel Launches School Supply Drive to Support Local Students
Laconia/Gilford — As the new school year approaches, Marriott TownePlace Suites is calling on the community to help ensure every student in our area is prepared for success by donating essential school supplies. We are collecting backpacks, pens, highlighters, paper, binders, notebooks, tissues, hand sanitizer, index cards, and other items to support local students in need.
 
Many families in our community face financial challenges that make it difficult to purchase the necessary materials for their children’s education. With your generosity, we can provide these students with the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
 
How to Donate:
Donations can be dropped off at The TownePlace Suites by Marriott located at 14 Sawmill Road, Gilford, NH 03249, open 24/7, from August 5th through August 25th. Monetary donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase additional supplies.
 
Why It Matters:
Having the right supplies boosts students’ confidence and readiness to learn. By contributing, you’re directly helping children in our community succeed academically and build a strong foundation for their future.
