Rug Hooking for Novice & Beginners with Pam Bartlett (5 Week Course)

Join artist Pam Bartlett at her studio in Loudon, NH for 5 Thursdays beginning on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 and ending on Thursday, October 17th for a Rug Hooking for Novice & Beginners Class. This class is being offered in 2 time slots, a daytime class from 10am – 12pm, or an evening class from 6pm – 8pm for 5 Thursdays in a row. Join us to learn rug hooking, a traditional New England fiber art that beautifully combines artistic expression and function. In this course, students will learn the core skills of rug hooking and make a 14”x14” piece. With the skills learned in this course, students would be able to progress to pieces involving more complex designs and color shading in the future. Use your finished piece as a wall hanging, pillow, or chair pad! The workshop fee includes a kit with a pattern, material, and a rug hook. Students must bring: A small pair of scissors and a 12” quilting hoop. All other materials are supplied by the instructor. Tuition is $155 per student and there is no materials fee.
